Benko Gladonov, production manager of American Tofu, claims he has the diary of Becky MacDaniel, the woman who died in the tofu plant. Benko blackmails tofu factory owner Charlie Greer because the diary implicates him in the woman’s pregnancy and death. The lovely, indomitable Genevieve O’Connor, Charlie’s vice president, is his only hope for retrieving the diary.
